World Patient Safety Day 2020

World Patient Safety Day 2020

Today, September 17th, Med-Ez are joining the global healthcare community in celebrating World Patient Safety Day! Recognition of the day came to be in 2019 following the adoption of resolution WHA72.6 for ‘global action on patient safety’. The premise of the day is deeply grounded in the most fundamental principle of medicine: first, do no harm.

With the Covid pandemic placing a greater focus and appreciation for our healthcare systems, this year’s celebration is more important than ever. The objectives of World Patient Safety Day are to:

  • Raise worldwide understandings around patient safety

  • Increase public engagement in the safety of healthcare - for both health workers and patients!

  • Promote global actions that enhance patient safety and reduce patient harm

This celebration is special to Med-Ez, as our company was established out of the aspiration to help patients receive quality care, at more affordable prices, without having to sacrifice safety. Patient safety is fundamental to our business, so on this day we would like to remind you of the ways Med-Ez seeks to protect you.

  • Only offering vetted doctors that comply with global healthcare standards.

  • 24/7 support throughout your medical journey - this means allowing you to travel with one guest at no extra cost for personal support and support from a member of the Med-Ez team to check in and answer all your questions.

  • Health and Travel insurance add ons available for an extra layer of protection

Med-Ez welcomes you in joining us to celebrate World Patient Safety Day. And to remind you that, everyday, Med-Ez puts patient safety first.
