It will also be useful to monitor your fat and calorie consumption after surgery to improve long-term results. While the treated area won’t gain fat as easily, it is still possible if you are not mindful. Maintaining a healthy diet and exercise regime helps maintain results and possibly enhance them. It is important to remember that liposuction is not a substitute for a healthy balanced lifestyle and weight-loss. 

You will also want to maintain an active recovery post-treatment - within the guidelines provided by your doctor. To help prevent blood clots, a possible complication that can occur after any surgery, you should do some comfortable walking daily.  While you want to avoid remaining sedentary, you should avoid strenuous exercise for 4 weeks.
